If you have taken time to read “About Me” you probably know by now a trip to Rochester isn’t complete without a visit to Mayo Clinic.
Earlier this week, Dave had several appointments and he received great reports!
Something typically happens whenever we are at Mayo Clinic that I want to remember and share. This trip, it was a crowded elevator ride. Inside the elevator were several people including Dave in his mask and a breast cancer patient and her spouse. The ride was quiet until one man said as he was existing the elevator, “Good luck everyone.” I looked around and there was a smile on every face. Several commented back, “thanks, you too.” That man’s cheerful heart was contagious.
After leaving Mayo Clinic, we decided to celebrate. We stopped by Forager Brewery for a toast…
and a tasting.
The three we chose were Starry Eyed Blonde (a Belgian Blonde Ale), Schuster’s Special (a Rochester Amber Ale) and a brand new one that has yet to be named.
All three were very good.
We shared an order of nachos that included cheddar cheese, pico de gallo, pork shoulder, goat cheese, chimichurri, and sour cream. Yum!
The brewery has a fun menu so narrowing our choice was a challenge.
I took a few photos of things that caught my attention at the brewery.
A chandelier
Wall tiles and dining chairs
Antlers
Brick oven and fun pizza menu on the wall
Cheers to Forager Brewery.
And cheers to good health, and cheerful hearts.
Thanks for visiting. Enjoy your day.
